The HP Latex 830 is built for high-volume production: 3 litre ink cartridges with hot swap, 20 m²/hr standard quality and up to 36 m²/hr, on rolls up to 55 kg and 1.6 m wide. The 830 W adds white ink with up to 5 layers.

The HP Latex 830 takes the 730 platform and builds it for volume. Three-litre HP 873 ink cartridges and hot swap mean you can change ink without stopping the printer, so long runs and overnight jobs keep going without someone standing over the machine. It prints 20 m²/hr in standard 8-pass quality and up to 36 m²/hr in draft for banners.
Like the 730, it loads 55 kg rolls from the front without a spindle, prints from the leading edge to save media, and has a built-in spectrophotometer for in-house ICC profiling. Automated double-sided printing covers PVC-free banners, textiles and papers.
The 830 W adds two white printheads with spot, underflood, overflood, 3-layer and 5-layer white modes - making it a strong choice for shops producing window graphics, backlits and premium retail work at volume.
The 830 comes with HP's one-year limited hardware warranty, and you can extend parts and labour cover to up to five years in total when you buy through us.

Why choose the Latex 830 over the 730?
If you run long jobs or print overnight. The 830's 3 litre cartridges hold three times the ink of the 730's 1 litre cartridges and can be hot swapped, and it's faster - 20 m²/hr standard and 36 m²/hr max, against 17 and 31 m²/hr.
What is ink hot swap?
Hot swap lets you replace an ink cartridge while the printer keeps printing, so a job doesn't stop when a cartridge runs out. Combined with 3 litre cartridges, it's what makes the 830 suited to unattended production.
What warranty comes with the HP Latex 830?
The HP Latex 830 comes with HP's one-year limited hardware warranty as standard. When you buy from us you can extend your parts and labour cover to 2, 3, 4 or 5 years in total - just choose the term in the quote form above.
