The HP Latex 730 is designed for print providers whose volumes have outgrown an entry-level printer. With eight printheads it produces 17 m²/hr in standard 8-pass quality and up to 31 m²/hr in draft for banners, and it handles rolls up to 55 kg - so longer jobs need fewer roll changes.
Spindle-less front loading makes media changes quick for one person, and the printer can start printing from the leading edge of the roll to reduce media waste. A built-in spectrophotometer lets you create custom ICC profiles in-house for consistent colour across media and repeat jobs, and automated double-sided printing opens up PVC-free banners, textiles and papers.
The 730 W adds two white printheads and HP Latex white ink, with spot, underflood, overflood, 3-layer and 5-layer modes for window graphics, backlits and coloured media. Maintenance is lighter too: HP rates the maintenance cartridge to last at least 50% longer, and the printheads are universal.
The 730 comes with HP's one-year limited hardware warranty, which you can extend to up to five years of parts and labour cover when you buy through us.

Frequently asked questions
Should I choose the Latex 730 or the Latex 630?
The 730 is the better fit for higher volumes: it has 8 printheads (vs 5), prints 17 m²/hr in standard quality (vs 14), takes 55 kg rolls (vs 42 kg), and adds a built-in spectrophotometer and 5-layer white on the W model. The 630 is the more compact entry point and is the only one available as a Print & Cut Plus bundle.
What's the difference between the Latex 730 and 830?
They share the same platform. The 830 uses 3 litre ink cartridges (vs 1 litre) with hot swap for long unattended runs, and is slightly faster - 20 m²/hr standard and 36 m²/hr max, against 17 and 31 m²/hr.
What warranty comes with the HP Latex 730?
The HP Latex 730 comes with HP's one-year limited hardware warranty as standard. When you buy from us you can extend your parts and labour cover to 2, 3, 4 or 5 years in total - just choose the term in the quote form above.
Can I trade in my old printer?
When HP is running a trade-in promotion you'll see it at the top of this page and in the quote form. Trade-ins aren't limited to HP - any make of large format printer can qualify. Give us the make, model and rough age and we'll include the trade-in in your quote.
Are HP Latex prints suitable for indoor environments?
Yes. HP Latex inks are water-based, so prints are odourless and the range holds UL ECOLOGO and UL GREENGUARD Gold certifications - which is why Latex is popular for wallcoverings, retail interiors, hospitals and schools.
